The Registered Office is the official address of a limited company or LLP, used for correspondence with government bodies like Companies House. Directors of UK limited companies must provide Companies House with two addresses: a correspondence address (Service Address) and a residential address.
Directors often use the company’s registered office as their correspondence address to keep their home address private. Our package includes the Registered Office Address and Director’s Service Address for one Director. This service is for legal and statutory use only, not for business or trading purposes. If you plan to use the address for business or trading, such as customer contact, or generating leads, please choose a Virtual or Physical Mailbox. The Registered Office is publicly available and used for official correspondence with government bodies like Companies House and HMRC.
Your address is immutable, meaning it can be changed but never removed, unless for special circumstances. Therefore, if you do not want to disclose your home address publicly, it is best to purchase this service before incorporating your business. This package does not include a Director’s Service Address. If you want to use the address to receive official correspondence as a Director, choose the Registered Office + Directors Service Address option.
