Co-working gives early stage businesses the opportunity to work alongside other like-minded professionals, encouraging a prosperous community of small business owners, freelancers and entrepreneurs all working separately but together under one roof. 

For co-workers or hot-deskers, The Workstation also offers flexible room to grow; each business centre has private offices to rent should you decide that it’s time for you and your business have your own space.

Printing facilities, business mailboxes, lockers and event space hire are also available as useful add-on services from The Workstation. Members are also invited to networking events which are held regularly within The Workstation calendar and community.

With such flexibility and sense of community, coworking and hotdesking is ideal for start-ups, freelancers and existing small businesses looking to enhance and develop their business presence without the commitment of a traditional office.

What are the opening times?

Monday to Friday 8am – 6pm, but this may vary from location to location. Please note there will be no entry post 5.30pm however those already in the centre can work until 8pm.

How do I gain access into the centre?

When you join and pay the membership fee you will be supplied with a pin code which will allow you entry at this same time you will also be provide with the Wi-Fi code.

How do I access the Wi-Fi?

When you join and pay the membership fee you will be supplied with a pin code which will allow you access to the Wi-Fi.

How do I print?

All of our printers at the centre have the ability to print and scan. You can bolt unlimited printing on to your package at any time. The ‘unlimited printing’ must be used in accordance with the fair use policy detailed in the membership agreement.

Can I have my post delivered to centre?

Yes, if you bolt on the Mailbox option to your membership package, you can receive post to the property address. You can also register your business at any of our centres.

Will I have access to the full programme of networking services & events as part of my membership?

As a member you will be informed of all networking events which occur within the centre and also within The Workstation’s wider portfolio of over 1,000 UK SMEs. This allows you to connect with both start-up companies and established small businesses across the UK.

How Many Guests May I have At One time?

We ask that you invite only 3 guests at a time to the open areas within centre for up to 2 hours. If more guests are required we ask that you book a meeting room. If guests are staying all day then they are required to purchase a day pass which can be requested via email. Guests without a day pass will not able to access the Wi-Fi.

How long is the contract

We will tailor your membership to suit your requirements however the minimum term is 1 hour. You pay 1 hour upfront and then the following payment is then taken by direct debit. To cancel your membership you are required to give one calendar months’ notice via the online system. For example, if you give notice on the 31st March, your membership will end on the 30th April. If you give notice on the 6th March, your membership will end on the 30th April.
