The Civic Society is the conservation and amenity movement for St Albans. Founded in 1961 and part of the nationwide civic society movement, they are a registered charity and a non-political organisation, welcoming anyone who cares about the future of St Albans and that wants a say in what the city looks like.

Each year St Albans Civic Society celebrates imaginative development and design initiatives which have been completed within the city in the previous year. For its Awards, the Society looks for projects that contribute to the preservation and enhancement of the character of St Albans, and achieve the highest standards of architecture, planning, landscaping and civic design. This year, one project was given the Society’s Annual Award and plaque, and three projects were recognised as winners in the residential and commercial buildings category.

The location of our latest Workstation business suite at 40 London Road was awarded as the Commercial Building winner this year. View the certificate here. You can read the full article on the Civic Society website here.
